The cam switch range comprises the product lines type M, P, R, S and T. They are manually operated rotary switches with switch ratings from 10A to 315A and available with switching angles of 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° plus spring return. These switches are suitable for world wide application; complying with all relevant national and international standards, they are available in a wide range of standard switching programmes with up to 12 switch positions and 24 current paths and may be used for switching main or auxiliary circuits. Switches with special customer specified programmes are also supplied. Cam switches can be used as OFF/ON switches, main supply switches, motor switches, changeover switches, multi-step load switches, instrument switches and control/selector switches, such as programme selector, code and gang switches. A wide range of standard mounting forms is available for front panel and base mounting, to suit either single hole or 4 hole fixing, together with surface mounting switches in insulated enclosures.
