BST (British Standard Tester) is a UK based technological consulting firm specialised in I.T. and computer software development. It was founded in 2000. Initially it concentrated on offering services to assist newly set-up companies in Eastern European countries.
Following their recent success in developing a software in LCR testing and digital storage oscilloscope, BST has formed a joint venture with Caltek Industrial (Hong Kong) Ltd, a well established instrument manufacturer in Hong Kong. The objective of the joint venture is to develop and produce, for the first time in China, LCR component analysers and a full series of professional oscilloscopes. These products include the 0.05% high accruate LCR component analsyer with fully automatic sorting operation and the economical series type, i.e. US$199, LCR meter with 0.25% DC accuracy, backlight LCD display and 4 bins sorting capability.

The BST scopes are designed to capture low frequency single to high frequency transient signals. The 15MHz Arbitrary waveform generators and the outstanding performance DC regulated power supply with both standard and programmable versions are ideal for industrial, educational and IT applications. Users can rely on BST instruments for it's high technology and safety standards. All BST products are designed and tested to comply with IEC1010/EN61010 safety requirements. Production is carried out in BST ISO9000 certified facilities under a stringent quality control system.
