What Is EMS System?

However, with EMS system, the total electricity charge can be reduced without changing the total usage by managing your load profile to reduce the Peak Demand.

 

The EMS system provides the ability to gather system information accurately and reliably without much time consuming.

 

The system typically provides basic electrical parameters, power, energy, power quality disturbances and distortions, as well as device status, alarms and time stamped event information.

 

In a manufacturing plant or refinery, it may take 1 to 5 man-days per month to gather and store the basic routine data. This labor can now be eliminated with the help of EMS system. In fact, the data gathered automatically by EMS system can be more comprehensive and easier to analyze than what is gathered manually.
